Finish Unit 5 - Begin joining sets (addition) and separating sets (Subtraction) Practice writing numbers to 12 with your Kinder.  When they can write these correctly practice the teen numbers.  Can they see the pattern?

Monday

Read to your Kinder. Help your Kinder write his name correctly - only the first letter is capitalized.  Use the correct number of strokes.  Please

use the name card that I sent home as a guide.

Tuesday

How far can your Kinder count?  Can your Kinder count to 100 by 1s, 5s, and 10s?  Can your Kinder count by 2s to 50?

Wednesday

Does your Kinder recognize the letters of the alphabet in random order? Buy or make some flashcards to learn/review the letters.

Thursday

Print these word I, and, is, and said ten times.  Read to your Kinder.

Friday

Read to your Kinder.  Look in magazines and in the newspaper for the sight words.  Cut out the words and glue them on a piece of construction paper to make a poster.
