Jan Altevogt is now Assistant Principal at St. Thomas More School in Centennial, CO. She will be stepping up to principal for the 2011-2012 school year. Jan began her Colorado education career teaching Middle School Language Arts at St. Louis.
David Baumgartner is founder and president of the Student Catholic Medical Association at the University of Colorado.
Judith Baumgartner had an illustrious 15-year navy career. In response to God’s call she then entered the Abby of St. Walberga 2008. She is now a Benedictine novice and hopes to make her first monastic profession in the Spring of 2011.
Darren Jacoby continues his long-standing tradition of coaching basketball for the varsity girls.
Maureen Kelly, past 4th grade Language Arts teacher, is now Assistant Principal at Normandy Elementary school in Littleton, CO.
Julie Monroe, long time 5th grade teacher, has returned to Colorado. She recently received the Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scout’s of America, Denver Area Council. This is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a volunteer. It is given in recognition of distinguished service to youth.
Remember the Menardi and/or Rager families? Well, they have united and Mary Rager is now Mrs. Gary Menardi. They welcomed son Matthew Dominic Menardi in June 2011 and retired from 5 successful years as Athletic Directors for our school. We are thankful that they will continue as coaches in our program. Anne (Rager) and Keith Ward's son Gary is now a St. Louis student.
John Polichio has his granddaughter, Taylor Langlett, attending St. Louis Catholic School. Taylor is in 6th grade.
Adam Riedell continues to give back to St. Louis by refereeing Widget basketball games.
Peter Ritzer, past Middle School Religion and Social Studies teacher, is now a published author. Pick up his latest book, Seven Ox Seven.
Charlie Tuffield has his daughter, Jerry Walker, teaching 5th grade at St. Louis Catholic School.

The Zalesky family has kept close ties to St. Louis. Nick coaches the Widget and JV basketball teams and the Widget baseball team. Misty has her two daughters, Jade and Tayah, in attendance at the school.

Our alumni were well-represented at our 2011 Basketball Kick-off event by Darren Jacoby, Nick Zalesky, Mary (Rager) Menardi, Gary Menardi, Kacey & Kyle McCaslin, Michael Hoeft, Ben Moser, Adam Riedell, and David Hutt. Nick and Darren are both basketball coaches at St. Louis. The alumni vs. coaches game was a great contest; the coaches squeaked out a win in the closing seconds!
